We work together with Freelance producers to make sure that you get the best deal for your music. Your project can be done completely in-house, completely out of house or a mixture. Make sure that you agree the terms with your producer before proceeding. They will deal with the studio hire.

Producer/engineer Umair Chaudhry is experienced with all kinds of music, and always on the lookout for bands and artists to record. Very hard working and diligent, Umair works with the band to produce the sound they're after as well as contributing his years of experience in recording music and knowledge of music theory.
Veteran of the underground music scene, Umair has worked with countless bands across all genres, including Xmas Lights, Popular Workshop, Action and Action, Harry Angel, Dial F For Frankenstein, Witches, Terrence Mas, Ethos,The Drop, International Jetsetters, Loose Grip, Smilex, EXP, Dub The Earth and more. Umair has also worked alongside top producers such as Dave Eringa (Manic Street Preachers, Idlewild) and Adam Whittaker (Amy Winehouse, The Damned).

Graeme Rawson (www.graemerawson.co.uk)
Graeme is a freelance sound engineer and music technology teacher. Recently graduated from university with a 1st class honours BA in music technology, Graeme has experience recording a wide range of musical genres and groups including popular rock and pop acts as well as full orchestras, sections and choirs. Outside of Silver Street he can offer film and music mixing, mastering and smaller projects using home facilities. In addition to engineering Graeme is a singer/songwriter, composer and guitarist. He also currently teaches AS and A-Level Music Technology at Willink School in Berkshire.

Nigel Firth is an experienced Guitarist, Composer and Programmer. Classically trained, he has an extensive knowledge of Logic Pro 8 and associated AU plugins. He holds a First Class BA (hons) in Music and has recently completed the first year of an MMus in Ethnomusicology at the School of Oriental and African Studies, gaining a 'Distinction' in Composition. He teaches guitar and music technology both privately and at Moulsford Preparatory School. He writes songs and produces for Vienna Ditto, a Rockabilly/Electronica trio who have received fairly widespread national radioplay and last year recorded a Maida Vale session for the BBC. He is particularly interested in vintage electronica, new sounds and accompaniment in all its forms.
Jimmy Page (Led Zeppelin) once said that Nigel made him want to go home and practice the guitar.

We are open to approachers from dedicated and self motivated, engineers or producers that have some aptitude, a good attitude and the time and the patience to develop their recording career with our help. We have a purpose built control room, some equipment, experience and some requests for work to offer the right people and are looking for a portfolio of people to cover all sorts of styles.
Our focus is on providing the space and the tools for you to work. Our business is aimed at artists that are capable, confident and interested in working on their own and just need the tools to do this. To that end, we aim to provide and develop the space for a small number of 'partners'. If this sounds like you please get in touch.
